The wines of Domaine Renaud & Fils express the harmony between an emblematic grape variety — Sauvignon Blanc — and an exceptional mosaic of terroirs. Produced exclusively within the Pouilly-Fumé PDO, our two cuvées reveal the depth, purity and aromatic finesse that have made the region’s reputation.
Our classic Pouilly-Fumé opens with refined notes of blackcurrant bud and a subtly smoky minerality — a hallmark of the appellation. The palate is vibrant and poised, unfolding with citrus nuances before returning to an elegant mineral tension. A fine, natural sparkle brings liveliness to the wine, while the finish is both savoury and gourmand, touched with hints of exotic fruit.
Our Cuvée Silex, meanwhile, comes from old Sauvignon Blanc vines rooted in flint-rich soils on the Saint-Andelain hill. Complex and expressive, it reveals a beautifully layered aromatic profile and a silky texture that develops gracefully over time. Vinified for several months in temperature-controlled stainless-steel vats on fine lees, it offers remarkable depth and pairs superbly with refined dishes such as scallops, pike-perch with beurre blanc or monkfish in a rich sauce.
